THE PRODUCT:This is a great, light, and study cart for the money.But there are a couple things any potential buyer considering this must know.First, while the product write-up describes three different cart sizes that you can get from this unit, do realize that--once you've assembled it one way--there's no going back. In other words, you only get to assemble this unit in ONE of its three possible configurations. You have to pound the whole thing together with a rubber mallet. It's held together by friction. And if you try to disassemble any part of the unit YOU WILL DESTROY IT ENTIRELY! I suggest assembling the unit in its tallest configuration.Next, read the assembly instructions carefully before beginning, but DO *NOT* EXECUTE "STEP ONE" FIRST! If you do, you will damage the unit during the rest of the assembly.Step One tells you to assemble the outlet to the top shelf first. Do NOT do that first. DO THAT LAST--after you've assembled the entire unit. If you do that first, you will not be able to lay the top shelf flat for assembling the rest of the unit (something you must have). Also, if you install the outlet first, the action of pounding together the rest of the unit will strip the screws holding the outlet out of their plastic holes.Finally, remember that you're assembling the unit upside down, so make sure you place the shelves with their bottoms facing you so that the smooth shelf surface will be on top when you turn it upright. I know that may sound obvious, but if it's late at night and you're tired when you're doing this, you WILL screw it up (it's easy to do) and you will NOT be able to undo it.Finally, the "Step One" instructions are confusing and unclear (displaying a tiny un-readable diagram). You'll figure it out by looking at it, but I suggest buying some Velcro strips to add to the unit to help hold the power-strip. Also, there are two missing screw holes that should've been drilled that weren't. Finally, the zip strip used to hold the power cord has no hole for a retainer screw the instruction talk about. But it's easy to get around by simply fastening the strip to the nearest cord L-holder. If that last sentence doesn't make sense to you now, it will when you receive this unit.But, again, let me end with these words: DO NOT DO ASSEMBLY "STEP ONE" FIRST. DO "STEP ONE" LAST and you will be fine.Oh, by the way, when you pick up that Velco, buy some Epoxy too. Y[...]
